Recently went to Jerome and Cottonwood to Caduceous and Arizona Stronghold tasting rooms. Very surprised by the quality of wine! Excellent and grown in Arizona. Watched Blood into Wine documentary too. Great eye opener on the challenges of growing wine in this area. Maynard from Tool is one of the owners of these vineyards. This red blend was great.
Ahi tuna poke stack at Yard House. Tons of tuna, carrots, sprouts, avocado, crisp won tons, and a spicy wasabi soy sauce. Mmmmmm! I crave it fortnightly.
